State flags have been lowered on all administrative buildings of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to honor the memory of those who died in the Abkhazian war and in connection with the 29th anniversary of the fall of Sukhumi.
The military confrontation in Abkhazia started in August 14, 1992. The war lasted for 13 months and 13 days.
